Thank you for the thoughtful message and the cute sticker! I'm happy that you remembered me, and I surely didn't forget my own words, either! I hope that the little gift pleases you. I'm doing well. (smile!) I met a kind person named Gareki who hired me, and he even feeds me! But he can be such a bully sometimes... Oh well, I think he's just really shy. I hope that we can see each other again soon! Take care!
I had no intention as to draw in any attention during the picnic earlier today. While I'm not meaning to pry, either, I could only be concerned over your mood.
( in the two month that Michael has been here, he has only had a handful of people leave, but one of those was his best--and first--friend from home. by now he's accepted the idea that Yuuma is gone and while he may not he safe per se, he's safe at least from any shenanigans that their Landlord is capable of.
so, really, he gets it. losing someone isn't easy, but maybe for him it was easier than it should have been. that doesn't mean that he can't be sympathetic, however, if he were to find out that someone had lost someone to.
this morning he comes down to breakfast early as any other day: he's got school to attend, and he's always been more of a morning person anyway, once he gets up and moving. while he's not exactly cheerful he's not in a bad mood, definitely he's what anyone would consider in a normal, mild mood. he'll be smiling as he lays out tea things and a typically sparse European breakfast: some toast, some preserves, perhaps a fruit or a bit of yoghurt. he's no longer rubbing at his eyes and he's dressed for school already. )
[So it's Christmas Day, and the Landlord's little spell has worn off. Rio is back to her human form, and something else is also back to normal, too.
...Unfortunately, she picked out her gift before it wore off. It's too late to redact it and find something more suitable, though. So when she approaches Tyr, it's with no small amount of mortification. This is going to be so, so embarrassing.]
