[Maybe it would do Tyr some good but Ion can't say for sure. He doesn't settle back down until his card is returned as so he doesn't have to struggle with getting it back into his pocket.]
[While Ion is willing to stay with Tyr for as long as he is allowed it is not as though he is going to protest if Tyr needs the time alone. For now, Ion slips out of his chair and heads to the door. He makes sure to be careful with pushing the door open with there being cats still hanging about.]
[ Or Ion would just be too polite to tell Tyr he wanted to be alone. Being with Ion was relaxing. He didn't judge him or need him, but he was still beside him as his friend.
Tyr followed closely behind Ion to make sure no cats slipped past, but once they were outside, he took his place next to Ion. ]
[The walk to the beach hasn't gotten any shorter but Ion isn't troubled with going along the way. It isn't horridly hot with the cloud cover and if it can do Tyr some good, it's necessary. Ion chooses to keep quite for the duration of the walk.]
[ Tyr doesn't even say anything the entire way there, and when they reach it and arrive on the sand (admiring the many flamingos), he still doesn't say anything. It's just a short walk over to the shoreline where Tyr goes ahead and sits down. ]

[It seems as Ion has run out of veggies and rice at this point.]
I'm glad you don't find it distasteful, at least.

[ Tyr just eating and eating. ]
I don't. It's pretty good...and it's not too light, either.

[But for now, Ion's going to take this time to finish up his soup.]

[ Though that suits Tyr just fine. He didn't plan on hanging around with a lot of people today. ]

We can visit... But I'd rather go to the beach after that.

[He sets his spoon down as he reaches into his pocket to pull out that card he received upon his arrival to take care of pay.]
no subject
...All right.

Tell me when you are ready to leave.

[ He pushed himself back to leave. How long would Ion want to stay with him? He's have to cut Ion loose soon. ]

Do you come here often?

It's kind of nostalgic...

Something like that. I used to live on the water, too.

Is the bandana for concealing your gills?
no subject
How did you know?
no subject
[He does not look back at Tyr as something else has come to his attention.]
no subject
I always knew you were clever...
[ But he still looks away himself, losing steam. ]

You are always wearing gloves.
no subject
Ah, right... That's...
[ Of course Ion would notice that. ]
no subject
[Meaning his hands. He hasn't any other sort of guess as to why the gloves.]
