[Ion finally leaves the living room to go through the rest of the house as to assure that the rest of the residents in the house are well. This leads to a delayed response that confirms that he is on his way. There are a little over than forty houses separates Ion's from Tyr's and it takes him some time before he is finally walking up 1963's driveway without meeting anyone along the way. He takes care to knock lightly on the door as not to disturb the house if all who are living there are sleeping.]

[ Tyr answers almost immediately, having waited by the window to watch for Ion's arrival after checking on his own family members. They were all sound asleep, even Mukumuku, at this hour.

The wait to see Ion after that, though, was maddening without any communication. It was better for Ion to focus on his surroundings along the way, yet not knowing what was happening still put Tyr's heart in a vice.

But he arrived safely, and Tyr opens the door for Ion to welcome him in. The television is off now, leaving only the light of a table lamp to illuminate the room for them. ]

Ion... Was there any trouble?

[fontastically]

[If only he were visiting on a happier occasion.

Ion is quick to step in and brings a hand up to unzip his jacket. He does take notice that the television in is not turned on in this house- if it had been at all - but makes no comment. Instead, he merely shakes his head in response to the other's question.]

I did not come across anyone.

I'm glad...

[ He shuts and locks the door behind him and lets Ion make himself comfortable. He can't help but worry about Ion; he saw people die, and there's only a promise of more gruesome footage to be shown. Did he know any of those people, see their own deaths?

As much as he wants to be there for Ion, he doesn't know how to in the end. All he does is hold his arm out to take Ion's jacket to hang with the others. ]

[He isn't able to regard death as something alien to him. But with his short stay in Holly Heights, it isn't as though it is considered normal. Or maybe people did die and such things went unaware.

Ion removes his jacket so he is able to hand it to Tyr.]

Is everyone all right, here?

[third_liberator]

[ Tyr nods and replies as he goes to hang Ion's jacket. ]

Yeah... They're all still asleep...

[ Turning back to Ion, he takes a harder tone. ]

Are you okay, though?

[fontastically]

[He brings himself to nod once again.]

It was for the best that I was in the living room at the time.

[third_liberator]

Mm...

[ But Tyr doesn't really want to talk about it just yet. ]

...Let's go in the living room. I'll start some tea for us, and...we can talk about this.

[fontastically]

[He doesn't really feel like having any tea but maybe it will help Tyr. Ion easily agrees and moves off to go sit on the sofa.]

[third_liberator]

[ You're getting some damn tea, Ion.

Tyr spares Ion a glance before disappearing in the kitchen for a minute to start the water. That's all he does, and soon returns to sit beside Ion. ]

Did you...know any of them?

[fontastically]

[He gives a quick glance of his own but to the television. Still off.]

Not personally.

Good...

[ Did Ion want the TV to be back on? Just to look at that green screen? Tyr wasn't about to turn it on without Ion asking him to, though. ]

What exactly...what did you see? When the TV turned on...

[fontastically]

[He furrows his brow as he finally looks at Tyr. Good? It doesn't justify their deaths in any manner.]

Four of the listed victims were shown. The first, Mr. Barnaby, appeared to be relaxing. The quality made it difficult to tell if he was alive as he wasn't moving. But it was shortly after that the water was shown to be completely frozen.

[He pauses.]

He was in the ice with blood from his head frozen as well.

[ It made Ion speaking about this easier. There was nothing to do for the victims now.

Given Ion's ease of relaying what he saw, it was a good thing he didn't have any personal connections. Not that the frank description didn't make Tyr grimace. ]

Frozen?

[fontastically]

Yes.

[What else is supposed to be done? He's just doing as Tyr asked of him and panicking isn't going to help.]

There was blood shed with each shown death save for one. It appeared that possibly her... neck was snapped.

I see...

[ He feels sick hearing that. Blood, frozen bodies, and a snapped neck. His fingers clenched in the fabric of his pants. ]

...This still doesn't seem real...

[fontastically]

[He doesn't say anymore beyond that and merely nods like before. It certainly isn't normal. There is so much going through his mind but it's late. Tyr doesn't need all of that at this hour.]

[third_liberator]

[ So they end up sitting in silence for a while before Tyr gets up and finishes making the tea without a word. Two cups for both of them, just black tea with some sugar. He hands Ion his cup before sitting back down. ]

[fontastically]

[Like Tyr had prepared it for when Ion was ill, Ion notes. Such a thought somewhat puts him at ease but he doesn't sip the tea right away.]

I should have contacted you later.

[third_liberator]

[ In a way, he feels like Ion needs help now just as he had then. His comment, though, only makes Tyr shakes his head. ]

No... I'm glad you told me about this now. I wouldn't want to leave you to think on this alone anyway...

[fontastically]

[He sips his tea, finally.]

The both of us thinking on it at this hour isn't going to do you any favours, either.

[ Tyr keeps holding his cup just to enjoy the warmth. He hasn't even realized that he forgot to cover his hands; they have more important things to focus on. ]

It's a good a time as ever to think about it, though...

[fontastically]

I have to wonder why is it...that they were killed.

[He lowers his cup after a moment.]

[ He looks down at his tea, his voice turning softer. ]

There are a lot of reasons someone might do this...but all at once like this, it can't be natural.

Maybe they knew something. Or it's another experiment.

[Ion looks down at his own tea.]

It's cruel.
